Terms and Conditions for Events

The following terms and conditions apply to participation in my events (systemic constellations/retreats). I provide my services exclusively on this basis. For events that I conduct at other venues, the terms and conditions of the respective organizer apply.

1. Registrations

Please send your application in writing, including the registration form, by post to: Tanja Peikert, Taunusstraße 48, 61191 Rosbach

Please submit your application form in writing via email to: mail@happyfamilylife.de

Registrations will be processed in the order they are received. As proof of your booking, you will receive a written confirmation of your registration via email. If all places for an event are already filled, you can add your name to the waiting list. I will inform you, possibly at short notice, as soon as a place becomes available.

I accept no liability for events organized by third-party providers. The terms and conditions of participation of the respective third-party provider apply.

2. Participation fees

The participation fee covers only my event services and event materials – meals and accommodation are not included. The participation fee is due in full upon receipt of the invoice. In the event of late or incomplete payment, I reserve the right to refuse participation in the event until full payment is received. Failure to attend individual event sessions does not entitle you to a reduction in the invoice amount. Payment must be received no later than four weeks before the start of the seminar. If the invoice is issued less than four weeks before the start of the seminar, it is payable within 14 days. If you have registered shortly before the start of the event, the participation fee is due no later than the first day of the event (cash payment is also possible).

3. Cancellation / Rebooking

You can withdraw your registration within 14 days of submitting your application without giving reasons, in written form (e.g., email, letter). Timely dispatch of the withdrawal notice is sufficient to meet the withdrawal deadline. This right of withdrawal does not apply if the registration is made within four weeks of the seminar start date. The withdrawal notice should be sent to:

Tanja Peikert, Taunusstraße 48, 61191 Rosbach or by email: mail@happyfamilylife.de

Voluntary right of withdrawal

Even after the statutory cancellation period has expired, you have the option to cancel your participation in the event in writing at any time.

For cancellations where the reserved course place cannot be filled by someone else, the following fees will apply:

A processing fee of €30.00 will be charged for cancellations received up to four weeks before the seminar begins. If cancellations are received less than four weeks before the event, the full seminar fee is payable unless you provide a qualified replacement participant who will take over the place and pay the invoice.

In case of illness, participants may attend the same seminar at a later date upon presentation of a medical certificate. A refund of the fee is not possible.

If a participant fails to attend the event without prior cancellation or cancels the event, the full event fee will be charged.

Rebookings to a different event date or a different event are possible once, up to four weeks before the start of the originally booked event date, and must also be made in writing. A processing fee of €30.00 applies to rebookings.

4. Confidentiality obligation of event participants

By participating in this event, you agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any personal names and data of participants that you learn during the event. You will be liable for any legal consequences arising from a breach of this confidentiality agreement.

5. Cancellation or change of events

Please understand that I reserve the right to cancel an event for urgent reasons (e.g., insufficient number of participants, speaker unavailability due to illness, accident, or force majeure). In the event of cancellation, I will promptly refund the registration fee and attempt to offer a rescheduled date. Further claims for damages are excluded.

6. Event materials

The course materials you receive at my events are copyrighted and are provided exclusively to participants of these events. It is not permitted to reproduce or distribute these materials, in whole or in part, without my written permission.

7. Obligations of the participant

You are responsible for obtaining your own insurance coverage (liability insurance). Furthermore, you agree to treat all provided equipment, materials, and classrooms and common areas with care.

8. Participant's state of health

For a normally healthy person, the events offered pose no risk. Participation in the event is not recommended in the following cases: organic brain damage, mental illness,

  • severe personality or obsessive-compulsive disorders,
  • acute shock states
  • strong influence of medication, drugs or alcohol

9. Liability

No liability is accepted for items, documents, and clothing brought along by participants.

  • Claims for damages against me or my agents are excluded, regardless of the legal basis.

This does not apply to claims based on damages caused by us, our legal representatives or agents, if

the damages consist of an injury to life, body or health,
the damage was caused intentionally or through gross negligence,
we are liable due to initial inability or impossibility for which we are responsible, i.e., the performance of the contract was impossible for us from the beginning,
in the case of a guarantee promise or a procurement risk, insofar as agreed and we are liable therefrom.

In these cases, our liability is unlimited.

In the event of a breach of so-called cardinal obligations due to slight negligence on the part of us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents, our liability is limited to the amount of damage foreseeable at the time of conclusion of the contract, the occurrence of which must typically be expected. This does not apply if we are liable without limitation as described above.

Cardinal obligations in the aforementioned sense are those contractual obligations essential to the contract, on whose proper fulfillment you rely and are entitled to rely, because they shape the contract and whose fulfillment is essential for the proper execution of the contract.

You must prove that a breach of duty has occurred, while we must prove the absence of fault (statutory burden of proof).

Your claims will expire within one year from the statutory commencement of the limitation period.

10. Data protection

Your personal data will be stored in my computer system and used and processed in accordance with applicable legal regulations. This includes use and processing for advertising my own offers and for internal purposes.

11. Accommodation and meals

Your contact person and contractual partner for accommodation and meals on site is the respective seminar venue, hotel, or guesthouse – not me. Room cancellations, e.g., after a seminar cancellation, must be made by you.

12. Content and organizational changes

As part of continuous improvement, content-related and organizational changes may be made to the advertised events.
