Learning made easy

Learning blocks and exam anxiety are often rooted in mental, physical, and emotional imbalances. Sensory overload, unprocessed emotions, unmet needs, negatively learned behaviors, or even lack of exercise can block either access to the brain or the transmission of stimuli within it. As a result, knowledge cannot be absorbed, accessed, or retrieved. A similar situation arises when learning is not conducted in accordance with brain physiology, i.e., when incorrect learning strategies are employed.

Stress symptoms during learning

The fear of embarrassment, being laughed at, or not living up to parental or societal expectations, among other things, can cause enormous stress for a child. Some situations can be so intensely stressful that the processing threshold of the limbic system (responsible for emotions) is exceeded, and the experience is frozen as a blockage. This blockage, caused by distressing emotions, can be reflected on all levels of the personality.

Lerntraining

Our needs control our behavior.

No motivation without fulfilling needs!

Every behavior throughout life is initiated and controlled by a need. Fulfilling this need is always the ultimate goal. Fortunately, we are all born with needs that motivate us in every type of learning (social, emotional, cognitive). All new goals are always built upon these genetically inherited goals and needs. Even cultural skills like writing, reading, and arithmetic are based on this.

Applied methods

Concentration training

Your child's so-called activation level determines whether and how well they can concentrate and succeed in learning. Is it underactivatedIt cannot concentrate well, it avoids new tasks, or it is unwilling to practice the necessary repetition. In this state, you're talking to a brick wall.

Is your child overactivatedIt shows panic or fear of failure. At this level, it is also unable to concentrate, retain new learning content, or recall previously learned material.

With targeted exercises, we can help the child reach an optimal activation level, improve learning and performance, overcome negative feelings and blockages, and ultimately be successful.

IERT like EMDR

All experiences and information from a day are processed during the so-called REM (Rapid Eye Movement) phase at night and partially stored in long-term memory. Some situations can be so stressful that the processing limit of the limbic system is exceeded, and the experience is frozen as a blockage. Using iERT methods, the REM phase is simulated while awake, and this blockage is released.

Alpha-Learning

The state in which we are completely relaxed and simultaneously mentally clear (just before falling asleep/while watching television) is called the alpha state because the brainwaves have a significantly lower frequency (alpha waves). This state allows for easy information absorption and storage and is therefore used for more effective learning (alpha learning). With the help of the guided imagery exercise, your child will be able to independently enter this state in order to achieve greater cognitive performance with less time.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is similar to acupressure and is used to manage stress and anxiety. Since distressing emotions are also stored on a physical level, they can be released by tapping on specific meridian points.

5-point method

Even at a very young age, children develop deep-seated negative beliefs about themselves and their environment. With statements like "I can't do it," "They'll laugh at me," or "I'll only be accepted if I do this or that," they put themselves under immense pressure or block their own development. Using this method, we uncover these limiting beliefs and replace them with positive and empowering ones.
